As some of you
know, I am in the process of bringing in a coach for our training sessions
following various requests from the November 2013 AGM. I have spoken to an old
contact who is a registered coach and willing to help out. He is an ex-minor
county player and currently plays premier league weekend cricket in addition to
coaching junior and senior level teams. His coaching career so far has been
quite successful managing to get 8 youth players into the county circuit.

WFCC Logo Revealed
We have
finally come to a decision for the logo for our club. Despite Logo number 2
having the most number of votes, it appears the company I was hoping to do the
embroidery think otherwise. They feel they would not be able to create the
shading effect and would not look good on the shirt. I then sent them the other
two logo candidates and they have suggested that we go for logo design number 1
(Shehan’s one) as logo 3 (Thusitha) has too much writing on it. We are
therefore going with logo 1 which I personally am happy with if everyone else
is? I’m sure Paul is happy with this choice and perhaps had an influence on the
embroiderers!
