Coach for WFCC

As some of you know, I am in the process of bringing in a coach for our training sessions following various requests from the November 2013 AGM. I have spoken to an old contact who is a registered coach and willing to help out. He is an ex-minor county player and currently plays premier league weekend cricket in addition to coaching junior and senior level teams. His coaching career so far has been quite successful managing to get 8 youth players into the county circuit.

The intention is to bring him in every other session where he will pay particular attention to our techniques and help the more beginner-intermediate level players across all areas (batting, bowling & fielding). He will perhaps dictate some of our net sessions making it more tactical rather than carefree batting and bowling.

He will charge £50 for his time (including travel expense). The intention is to eventually have this subsidised through our memberships once that is up and running.

Please let me know your thoughts regarding this. If everyone is happy, I will ask him to start from the session next week. I feel we can all benefit from this so please make every effort to attend!
